About Duxbury PD
The
Duxbury Police Department has an authorized force of 31 full time
police officers appointed under the Massachusetts Civil Service
System. The department is augmented by an additional cadre of reserve
officers and a small civilian support staff. The department is an
accredited agency as awarded by the Massachusetts Police Accreditation
Commission. The department traditionally logs approximately 18,000
activities annually. The Duxbury Police Department is also
headquarters for the Town’s 911 Emergency Communications Center. The
Center is staffed by 5 full time call takers, supported by several
reserve call takers.

Town of Duxbury is primarily a residential community on the Atlantic
coast in Plymouth County Ma. Duxbury’s beautiful coastline and beaches
